1984 trans Question
I have a 1984 s 10 with a 2.8 just curious what trans it is. 2wd and an auto.

It is a 700R4, 4-speed automatic, overdrive.

The trans in the S10 has a smaller case and I am unsure if the bellhousing bolt pattern is the same. Either way, it won't last behind a V-8. even a mild one.
Find one that came behind a V-8, 88 or later.
