Bedsides ?

i have a wood bed and im going to take the wood out and put steel floor in
i was wondering if you can do this without changing the bedsides?

Can you use wood bedsides with a steel bed?

The only things you will have to change will be the front panel and the crossmembers. The bedsides will work perfectly as will the wheels tubs.

i am in the process of doing the opposite, steel to wood. the bedsides can be used with both but u will need to change the front bed panel. an adapter is also sold that can be welded on.

Yes the bedsides are the same. the front header panel is different and rear cross sill is different but that should be with the steel floor when you get it.

awesome thanks for the tips
i already have the front piece.
the crossmembers will have to changed over from the steel bed.
you cant put the steel floor onto the wood beds crossmembers?
