I did find the obit in our local paper. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. CONCORD - Mr. David Wayne Haigler, 42, of Concord, died on Thursday, July 23, 2009, at CMC-NorthEast. Member BigDaddyDave Has Passed On
I don`t know any details other than he passed on 7/23.A loved one of his posted in an unrelated thread, not knowing where to post this.I feel he deserves a proper parting,so I offer this...
Dave had messaged me in the past and I know he was a stand up guy.I truly am shocked and regret that this has come to be.I pray for those he left behind to pull through the pain and carry on as I`m sure he would wish.I don`t know what else to say. R.I.P. BigDaddyDave

I remember that particular post. It really made me feel good about the time that I put in here. It's nice to know that you are a part of an internet group that can give someone such a positive feeling.
Mrs Haigler-Our kind thoughts and prayers for comfort will be with you and your family. Take comfort in knowing a large group of internet buddies will miss Big Daddy Dave.

This was one of my favorites from Dave...... I PM'd Dave about a month or so ago to meet up at Punchy's Diner over in Concord for a cruise-in on Sundays....we both were looking forward to it but at the last minute, he had to cancel due to some plumbing issues at his house....Man, I wished I had gotten to shake his hand and hang out a little bit with him that day.... May God Bless his family during this time of sorrow....RIP BigDaddyDave!

Re: Paying tribute to one of our own BigDaddyDave
Mrs Haigler please know you are welcome to be here. Your husband was a good member in our community. Josh and I were discussing last night how sad it is we never got to meet, as close as we live. Dave use to joke around about driving mail over to us because Rockwell's post office was slow as sin. I am truly sorry you and your family never were able to make it to one of the picnics at Dan Nicolas. He always seemed interested, but then work would get in the way for him.
Again, you are more then welcome to be here, posting, keeping in touch or just reading. I cant even begin to imagine what you are going through right now.. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Liz |
