Re: 31.5 or 33's

Kinda look like 33s, but hard to tell. Each truck is different. I had a truck that 33s rubbed on with 8" wheels. Buddy had the same tires on 10" wheels on a truck and only rubbed a little....

Re: 31.5 or 33's

I've been running 33/12.50-15's on 8" wide rims for over 30 years on GM pickup and Suburbans without any problems and no lift. I had a set of Jackman 10" wide wheels for a short while and they would hit. I got rid of them and put 8" on without further problems. Some big/wide tires don't play well with mounted running boards back of the front wheelwells also.

Re: 31.5 or 33's

I would venture to say its stock height.. looking at the rims for a gauge. If you are planning to have a shop mount the new shoes, test fit em and see for yourself. i did the same at les schwab and found out that with my 72 long box, 33's would rub the fender just enough to cause some damage so i went 31's until I could lift it where i wanted it. Nice truck man!! good luck

Re: 31.5 or 33's

Thanks, I am going to a shop that has both 31.5's and 33's and I am going to see if they can be mounted for a test "looK"-= do you think the top picture has a small lift?? or is it just the tires?
