Question Bolt Torque for Cab Mounts??

I just installed new cab mounts but I can't find the bolt torque spec in my shop manuals.
Does anyone have this figure for a 68 C10?

Guess they don't want those fronts coming off, eh? That's a lot more than goodintight!

Re: Bolt Torque for Cab Mounts??

Is there an FAQ anywhere on torque specs? I know manuals have a lot of them, but there are quite a few that aren't in the manual....Like Cab Mounts.

Re: Bolt Torque for Cab Mounts??

I found the specs for the cab and rad support mounts in the 68-72 factory assemby manual.

I don't recall seeing anything related to bolt torque specs in the FAQ Index...
Here's the link though:

BTW....for anyone who hasn't already done so, installing the new cab mounts made a huge difference in my truck's ride quality. They also cured some squeaks and rattles that I never could isolate
Pretty simple job and the parts aren't that expensive.

Re: Bolt Torque for Cab Mounts??

I just torqued mine until the air wrench wouldn't turn any more........ Would the same torque specs be used on the poly mounts as you would use on the originals?
