Frame ID number decode
i have a 71 SWB with a 68 front clip. it has been modified to a mild prostreet. thru this site i have been able to track down the VIN # and do a lil research. my question is where can i find information on how to decode the frameID number. the # i have is -1F628931- i found this number on the top side of the frame by the steering box. if anyone would have any information on this i would appericate it. thanks.

Re: Frame ID number decode
Welcome to the forums!
That is a partial VIN, it should match the VIN in the doorjamb and on the title. |
