Well the skeeters dont leave welts on me, but in the last couple of years these damn skeeters have gotten huge. I dont know where they came from but they used to be about three times smaller, at least thats down here where i live i dont know about up there in abilene.

i'll stay here where it's dry and the bugs don't come out until night time. we had a 5'4" rattlesnake outside this morning. so that was a good start to the day. try to stay cool and watch out for the bugs.

yeah snakes are fun. we killed another one last night in the dog's pen. poor dog was climbing the tree trying to get away. it must have looked pretty funny me trying to hold the flashlight ,shoot the snake and not kill the dog all at the same time.
