i bought an 85 lwb c10 with a reman 355 in it. its not the original motor so i ran the vin 14010207 and came up with a 83 350 2 or 4 bolt. is there any other way to tell if its a 4 bolt other then droppin the pan? my other question is if the heads are stock. i dont have the numbers off them yet but it has a marking on the front that looks like this...
can someone tell me if they flow good or if theyrejunk? i plan on doin a mean cam with a carb and dual pane intake soon and wondered if they are good or crap.. thankyou

Re: motor identification help please!!
the only SBC poduction heads that have decsent flow are vortecs in my opinion. Edelbrock RPM, Dart PRO1, are good heads and you got more intake choices than vortecs.

For a production head, go Vortec.
