09 GMC Sierra coil over question?

On a 2009 GMC Sierra, can the coilovers be removed without dropping the control arms? I am looking to put in a new drop spring or coilover, and don't want to drop the control arm if possible.

Re: 09 GMC Sierra coil over question?

I did my 07 Chevrolet and i did not have to drop the control arms. I don't think they have changed the front ends so they should be the same. The coilover will come through the lower control arm.

Yes! 07, 08 and 09 should all be the same. That’s what I needed, that should make this drop go a little faster. Thanks Z-71.
