Talking Tested some 20s yesterday!

Yesterday i visited a small cruise in near my home and met some friends.
One has a C 10 longbed project going on and he has some centerline wheels for it in 20x8 with 275/40 tires. Since it rained very much we took his K5 blazer to his shop and and tested the look of the 20s on my truck!
I don´t like this style but i like the filled wheelhousing.they should be wider also or put on with 1,5 inch spacers!
What do you think?

I happen to like that style. I bet they look killer when clean and polished up.

They do need to be wider, but they look pretty good. Love the shop...

Looks good, I would just go wider for the rear wheels.

Re: Tested some 20s yesterday!

Not to bad, but I think your truck needs something like a 5-spoke design. (JMO...)

If you go with the Centerlines, definitely go with staggering sizes (20x8 and 20x10).

I like the 20s on your truck. But not the smooth style. Lets see some of your friend's trucks!

I´m sorry i have no pics from his trucks. The C 10 is just the frame with drivetrain and the body parts are under heavy construction!( rustrepair and straightening) The K5 is his rolling showcase and seelingbooth for the billet and bling-bling parts he sells for living!
There´s a plastic smallblock in the back with all the nice polished parts on it and a nice custom soundsystem from Audiobahn! He rolls on satin black 20s with some flametread offroad tires!
The TBI motor is also dressed up nicely and gets a great gasmileage that i´m very jealous about!
I´lltry to get some pics in the near future!
He recently bought a ´04 chevy truck for a very good price as his dailydriver and he´s looking for a 50´s panel or delivery truck!

The centerline smoothies are ment for his C 10.we just put them onj to see how low he can go and if there´s any rubbing or steeringproblems!
I think i´m ok with a good set of 17s to put on some bigger brakes!
I can´t afford them anyways in the next years so i´ll ride my 15´s and keep them clean!

Re: Tested some 20s yesterday!

I like the look of those wheels but I think the rears should be 20x10. I dont think I would run the 8's with spacers.

Thats right the centercaps do not fit over the wheelhubs in front because they are to short and the centerhole is not wide enough.
Another reason for getting some other wheels.( if i had money)
I´d definetly would take a fife spoke like the Torq trust 2 or the Vintecs like N2TRUX has!
My baby is lowered 4/6 and with the 15s on the lower a-arms are really near to the street and sometimes scrape! That problem wouldn´t be with 20s!
