I think i have it all????

Going to start on my disk brake swap on my 70 chevy in about a week. Heres what i have in parts. Please tell me what im missing if any. FRONT- 72SPINDLES,ROTORS,ALL BEARINGS,72 CENTERLINK WITH ALL INNER AND OUTER TIE RODS ATTACHED(ONLY NEED OUTER ),NEW PADS,NEW 72 CALIPERS,72 PROP VALVE,NEW 72 MASTER CYLINDER. REAR- AXLES OUT OF 71,NEW DRUMS,NEW SHOES.... I MAY HAVE MORE AND FORGOT SOMETHING... DID I FORGET ANYTHING??????

Hoses and I think you'll be happier with a pair of 72 upper ball joints for those spindles--not sure on the last part.

Upper and lower ball joints

Brake rotor dust shields, rubber gaskets, and 5/16 bolts that secure them to the caliper.

Brake hoses and lines.

Castle nut and special washer for wheel bearings.

Dust caps

Banjo bolts

Axle seals for the rear end

Lube for rear end

Silicone or gasket for differential cover.

Brake fluid

a good weekend

oh a pickle fork and a big sledge(go to store, find biggest one you think you can handle, then go 3 sizes bigger lol) its dang near impossible to separate tierod ends/balljoints


other than that you've just about got it covered

I wish I would have done a 73-87 front suspension. You'll find the ball joints for a 71-72 will cost you about $50 each. 73-87 stuff is half the cost.

Well, at least I'll get to do it again in a few years on my next project.

All good stuff here.
-Spring kit (if doing rear shoes), brake cleaner, spring removal tool (s).

-Wheel cylinders if you have leaks.
-Bearing grease to repack bearings.
-Seal removal tool.

Lot's of time!

Those special brake lines wrenches would be nice if you don't have them.
