69 GMC to 77 K5 frame swap??

I have a 69 gmc swb, i have found a 77 k5 blazer for 1500 thats in decient shape. Just wanted to know if it will fit and how much of a hassel it is. Or if anyone has done this Thanks

The frame on the k5 is shorter so youll have to cut down the bed like a foot infront of the wheels and build a body lift

Yes, I've done this a few times. You can lengthen the Blazer frame, but the body will sit a couple of inches higher due to how the bed sits on the frame.
The rad support mounts need to be moved back, the front cab mounts are close, and I forget off hand what needs doing with the rear cab mounts.
Steering column length needs to be changed.
I believe that there are threads on this topic, maybe in the projects and builds section.

well I knew the body mounts were going to have to be changed but i was just trying to get the 5 lug setup and disc brakes and maybe save some money along with the 350 and sell my 327
