changing a small block to a big block

This has probably been asked a million times but I'm changing over to a big block and could use some help with a few questions. I have a 1971 2wd short box with factory air and needed to know what pulleys, brackets, power steering, alt. etc.... that I need to change over and hopefully where to get them. I already bought some big block motor mounts and ordered some "shorty" headers from Sanderson Exhaust. Thanks for any help.

Re: changing a small block to a big block

You need all that stuff or a big block. It all pops up on the parts board.A/C brackets are pretty in junk yards. With a subscription you can post a wanted ad.

Re: changing a small block to a big block

To get all factory original stuff. You will need $800-$1,200 worth of parts not counting the engine.
