PARTING 70 BB 1 ton, posi

Well, I've decided to part the firetruck. This is a 12K mile original firetruck that was used at a large manufacturing plant. It was a Custom 30 - same as Longhorn frame. First off, I'm keeping the motor and trans. The doors and hood are already sold, but everything else is up for grabs! (I'm also keeping the glovebox door to add to my collection). Cab is pretty bad rusted. Grill is pristine, BUT has a huge hole cut in the middle of it for the pump shaft.

Rolling frame - 133". Very solid frame. Good brakes, factory TH400 trans. cross member, auxiliary rear spring, front stabilizer, and NoSpin 4.10. This is a Detroit locker rear with only 12K miles!! $700 for all.

Painted hub caps - no rust, a few dents that should push out from back side. $75.

Auto column - NICE, levers have light rust. $75

RED steering wheel. Really nice wheel - a few small stress cracks, but no gaping holes like most have. $75.

High hump trans cover - $50.

68-71 BB frame mounts - $75

70-72 HEAT STOVE! Rare item - includes pipe and housing. $200.

I'll add more pictures later. All above prices + shipping. You can figure shipping from Killen, AL 35645 to get a ball park figure. No shipping on large parts. Anything else you see, just ask. Thanks.
Joshua.

Re: PARTING 70 BB 1 ton, posi

too much - I robbed the Custom Camper 30 emblems off for my C30 project, still have 8-400. I'm at work now, but I'll check the dash pad this weekend. Air cleaner is the same on small block. I've got one of them if you are interested.

Mudbug - The rear end is an Eaton. I've got a GM dually rear out of a 73 if you need that style.

Bigdon - The radio delete has a bracket pop-riveted to it. I have one off another truck if you are interested. Delete cowl?? One spotlight housing has a dent (facing inside), other OK - they work $100 for both lights & radio delete + shipping.

The cowl that does not have a hole in it for a radio antenna, hence no radio in the truck.

Ah-ha! I know what you are talking about now. If I can ship it without it going oversized, I'll do it. $40 + shipping _ I'll check on it. The panel is real nice and straight with no rust.

Re: PARTING 70 BB 1 ton, posi

I'm finally back! I've added some more pictures.

Toomuch - Dash pad looks good for a driver - small cracked place (see pic) $40 + freight

Bigdon - I looked at the spot lights closer today and they are not as good as I remembered. Both have a dent on the inside. $50 + freight for them.

Jkeady - Do you need the whole assembly or just the knob?

Re: PARTING 70 BB 1 ton, posi

I need the knob, the rod that connects to the vent, and the little bracket that holds it to the sheet metal. Not the vent door itself. I'm also looking for a black door lock button, too, if you've got one hanging around.

DK - rims are 16" and not split rims - 1 piece solid. $100 for wheels. Caps are listed for $75 (see above), but I'll let you have wheels and caps for $150 + shipping.

70CST - mirrors are real nice, but driver's side head is painted and pass. is stainless. I think I have another stainless head to swap out - if so, $50 shipped to you. Arms are not bent and look good!

So can you do anything for me re: my last post? Not big pieces, I realize, but I need 'em.
