Spud Truck's 66 Budget Build

I just use the zoombrowser software that came with my Canon camera. Compress and export to a folder. Then upload to your post. There is a sticky here somewhere on the forum on attachments. Do a search

Cool truck!!

As far as photobucket goes. Right click the pic in photobucket and copy the image (img) code under it then paste it in the message. Hope it helps.

Re: Spud Truck's 66 Budget Build

No you see, the moter-in-law seat is in the back and not bolted down so when your doing a burn out and let off the brake, she goes flying out. Atleast that's what I want to do to my mother in law

Re: Spud Truck's 66 Budget Build

Well I got back to the truck again. I'm trying to get the PS conversion going.I ended up getting a pump and gearbox from a guy on Craigs list for 25.00 If I came and pulled it off.I ordered a mounting kit from CPP over a month ago and I just barely got the shipping notification today. Very disappointed. This was before I learned about the Captains. Sorry about that Capn'.

I've got the pump cleaned and painted and when I went to mount it didn't fit of course. I had headers and the mount is for cast manifolds. So some quick engineering and it fits. Thank goodness.

Some of the best news this week I was able to find my son on facebook. I hadn't seen him since he was 7 and that was 10 years ago. My X changed his name.It was a rough divorce. He wrote back and said he loves cars. He said it must've come from me cuz no one else in the family likes them. I sure hope I can keep in touch with him and his mother doesn't find out. I have visitation rights but every time I find them she moves. Theyre in diffrent state so it makes it that much tougher. But I am on cloud nine just to hear from him.

Here is running total:
$742.00
$ 6.00 paint
$ 25.00 PS pump
$ 86.00 PS conversion w/pitman arm
_________
$858.00
