failing smog in az

hi all i have a 70 gmc 1/2 ton 383 eddy intake headers mild cam i pass everyting but idle hc i have allready swaped out the intake carb recuved the dizzy and im out of things i can think of so what are your thoghts any help is good help thanks

Hydro-carbons? Tune the carb and get some cheap cats if necessary.

full can of acetone in tank.... dropped my co from 23% to 6% and my HC from passing to almost 0 (.96)... idle up a bit (1500) , at op temp and dont sit in line and idle... good luck

there was a post like this a few weeks ago, it had alot of good info couple pages long, so if you could find that I'm sure that'd help you out alot. I don't remember the name of it but if you just search failed smog test you'll prolly find something.
