Re: Axle swap - will driveshaft work?
Nope, yer u-Joint on the D60 is 1350 ~ can't remember the number on a 12b? But perrty sure it's smaller and your driveline may need to be shortend a bit..
This is all going of off 15yr memory so I could be loosing my mind... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

12 bolts are 1310. Not sure about the length, but you a conversion joint will mate your shaft to the D60.

Re: Axle swap - will driveshaft work?
Can I buy or build u-joints that are 1310 on the 12B side and 1350 on the driveshaft side? Or… can I get a 12B 1350 yoke? Are there any other differences between the 1/2 and 3/4 ton driveshafts?

Yes, they are called conversion u-joints. Just google it or call your local drive train repair place. It will have a 1350 on one end and 1310 on the opposite ends.

1310 to 1350 conversion joint part # (neapco) 3-3140 or (NAPA) NPJ P348.

Re: Axle swap - will driveshaft work?
I bought a frame that came with a nice set of 1/2 ton axels with 3.07 gears. I’ll be running SM465 so I won’t have OD. My D60 has 4.10 gears in it. Plus brakes and stuff are a lot cheaper. I’ll probably use my D44/60 on a project one day.
