how do i measure bolt pattern size?

i have some 20'' rims that came on my truck when i bought it, but they were on with adapter. the lug nut only grabbed 3 turns if im lucky of the stud. i want to sell them but i cant find any size stamped on the rim or the adapter. how do i measure the bolt pattern, so i can let people know what it is.

Measure center to center between two of the mounting holes.

5 lug is outside of one stud to the center of the opposing stud.
