considering buying! Help!
Hello all! I am selling off toys cause I am wanting a jimmy or blazer 72 or older. Is there a buyers guide thread?
Also how awesome can I build one for rockcrawling/offroading? I know it all takes time and money, but I start with an end in mind. What would be the ultimate build sticking with a 350 motor and thinling a atlas transfer case. I have a 85 jeep liftedn and locked, geared, etc. Need a blazer to keep up/out perform jeep. Thanks |

He wants to go off road and play on the rocks, given that and as cool as tallhoedude's build is, it's not the right truck for either. elks, welcome to the board and 'YES' to your question, you can build it to out crawl the heep. Here's another site to check out. CK5: http://coloradok5.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=23 Last edited by vtblazer; 11-01-2009 at 07:53 AM. |

Re: considering buying! Help!
Sorry, the joke too obscure... I wasn't really asking anything. That was a guilty "what".
In my first reply I was just showing him the "Ultimate" build. I agree it's a very specialized rig. I was pretty sure he'd get plenty of responses to his question. To be more helpful, I should have sent him here: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=129295

Re: considering buying! Help!
So I have have an issue. I have one that is in Cheyenne wy and looks to be a decent start, I am considerong trading a bone stock 80 cj for it. I could sell the cj for about 3000.00 I thinl it is a good deal for me. There would definitely be 10000 worth of work to get where I want the k5 to be. On the other hand there is areally nice one here in town, for around 9000. It is really close to what I want, I have to sell the jeep, a lift kit, a pellet stove, and a front and rear set of 44s to get close. If you had the choice, buy. Built or or buy builder. I am thinking buy built. I have a 72 pu from my gpa that's e wheel drive I need to go body off with.
