Re: Extended Cabs?

I saw this one on Craigslist today. It's located at a used car lot a few miles from my house. He should be willing to deal as it has been sitting there for 2 to 3 years that I can remember.

Re: Extended Cabs?

I found an extended cab tow truck here in town. Has anyone else seen anything like that? I will head back down with my camera to snap a few pics. It is a dually and would make an awesome tow rig for my Monte SS's.

Re: Extended Cabs?

Definately get some pics. I havent seen one, bur rhere is no telling what has happened over the last 25 years with these things, I cant find any records of what they did. Could have been ordered by a dealer for use at thier dealership, or someone may have just moved the cab over later on in the years. Maybe the owner has some info on it, if so, please send them my way

Re: Extended Cabs?

It is located at a dealership (hole in the wall). He has no clue about what it is and how it was built. Its kinda rough, but is still pretty cool and unique. It is an 84. It does run and drive. It has a 350 TH400 combo in it and it is 2wd short chassis dually. Not sure if it's factory or someone built it. I know the rear section was fabbed up rather poorly. The paint job is rather unique but enough typing. I will let the pics tell the rest of the story.

Re: Extended Cabs?

That is unusual. Judging by the size of the rear window and interior, Id say its a Stage Coach conversion. It looks like its been rode hard and put up wet. It would make a nice ride. The rear window needs to be centered better (S10 window install would be perfect) Maybe he"ll part with it for a resonable amount. Let us know.

I know exactly where that one is at. It's pretty rough inside, but could be saved.

I like this one a LOT. Needs a big back window...
