dually transport
Anybody have recomendation on an open transport company for a dually. Tried an enclosed transport company and the dually is too wide (98 inches) for their enclosed trailer. Tell me your experiences, good or bad. Thanks. This will be a 500+mile trip.

Re: dually transport
A while back (2001?), I used a company that was basically a network for car haulers. I had a '67 Caddy transported from TN to CA. They had access to pretty much any type of transport you need... Now if I could just remember their name, dang it! They were based out of TX I believe.

Re: dually transport
Call a flatbed carrier. They wouldn't have a problem with the width. WES

Re: dually transport
Take the outer two dual wheels off to make it narrower.

Re: dually transport
This could work if the fenders are removable also.

Re: dually transport
Thanks for the suggestions guys. Forgot to mention that dually is a flat bed so bed width is a problem, even w/o outside tires.

Re: dually transport
Sorry guys. Grandkids all over the house when I got home from work. Just now got to the computer. Slomotion's info is correct. Reg cab. The truck is 18 foot 6-inches long. 8 foot 2-inches wide. And the headrack is 78 inches from ground, which is the highest point.
