250 6 cylinder valve covers
So I have a 72 with a 250 and I want to dress the motor up a little.
I see alot of chrome valve covers for sale for 75-79 250s but nothing below that. Do these work because I see the gasket sets are dated from 60-79 or something like that? Driving me bonkers... Thanks |

Re: 250 6 cylinder valve covers
In 75 most 250"s went to the intregal head. It takes a different valve cover & gasket. Most Camero's still used the old style with separate intake/ exhaust manifolds. Also 292's kept the old style.

Ok. I thought the integral head was 79 up.
Thanks. Do you know a place to get valve covers for a 72? |

Re: 250 6 cylinder valve covers
get a valve cover off a mercruiser. They are made of al and could be painted up real nice.
