Re: bucket seats

99 to 07 full size truck front seats. price starts $50 to $500. i found this and i would have to cough up $125 to $150 for the center seat/arm rest. a close look there is no intergraded flip down arm rests on this set. if the seats were from a full consul they would have the intergraded flip down arm rests. you will have to drill new holes and reenforce the floor at your mount points. here the link to what i was looking at :http://www.usedregina.com/classified-ad/9962982

Re: bucket seats

I put the front set out of an '03 Silverado Crew Cab in my 67. I had to fab up some 3/4" risers for the front mounts and the rears just sit on the stock floor. I also used Grade 8 bolts and 4x4x1/4" reinforceing plates underneath. They are a tad thicker in the back then a stock bench seat, but I'm 6', 250 lbs. + and they work crazy good. I did have to do the collapsed column mod for a bit more gut room though. Here's a pic of how they sit.

Re: bucket seats

What is a collapsed collum mod and what kind and size steering wheel is that? The seats look great and I like the smaller wheel.

Re: bucket seats

Similair to the pic above, a 96 or so bucket with a flip down console should work. Loose the head rest and recover to look like a buddy buckets...this is my plan.

Re: bucket seats

About the same as the one above only blue in a '68. Never knew the year they came out of because the truck was fubar. Easy to put in and love 'em. Paid $80.00 for everything.

Re: bucket seats

I know there was a online vendor that does custom seats for our truck, little pricey but looked sharp. There was a thread in here somewhere, I was going to post it but I seem to have lost it...hopefully someone will post it up...ok here you go, did some more searching. Do these look familiar, I would like to find the thread for the guy that ordered these to see how they turned out. http://www.discountvantruck.com/truc...canClassic.htm

Re: bucket seats

I put a set in my 68, cut them into the floor 1 1/2' and also cut off the mounts from the seat. Dropped the seats to a decent height.
