Re: Windshield Wiper arms
They are splined and pull straight off
Depending upon the condition of you truck you can take a screw driver and stick underneath the wiper arm near the base and pry Use several layers of shop towels between the screwdriver and the paint to keep from scratching the paint You can also use a c clip tool used to remove the c clips on your window crank and door handles - same thing goes as before - protect the paint

Re: Windshield Wiper arms
Some of them you have to lift on the arm at the same time you're trying to remove them. I use a towel and a claw hammer and sometimes a small crowbar. Go slow and work around it until it loosens up. After many years they can get stuck.

Re: Windshield Wiper arms
Snap on makes a tool that makes this easier. part number is A192, about $10.
