You might give these guys a call.
http://www.performancewheel.com/spac...egory=6&gacid= BTW what did you have in mind for a suspension conversion that is "Expensive" ? It can be done relatively inexpensively if you're resourceful and use OEM parts.

I know you'll want front disc brakes more sooner than later Isaac. Why buy wheels that are going to be the wrong backspacing for the setup you will eventually want.
Here is a good thread on the disc brake upgrade using junkyard parts. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=367260

Re: 6 lugz...iwant 5....but im on a bugdet
well i know its not exactly expensive to change out my suspension to a 73-87, but im currently on unemployment and im going 2 fresno state so between the tution increase, and my insurances on both cars and drivin my truck (gass guzzler) i dont have much cash, but i would like a temporary fix. i have some astro supremes that my dad gave me with new tires so that cost me nothin, so basically im tryin to get the cost effective "equivalent" or close to.

It wasnt to bad. Parts were just about 200 from the junk yard for the front...took a day to swap. And thats with beer time.

Re: 6 lugz...iwant 5....but im on a bugdet
Junk yard stuff will be the cheapest. I would thing swapping rear axles for 5 bolts and then steal a whole front crossmember/brake booster with disks setup. Thats what i did bought a cheap donor and stole EVERYTHING! LOL
The front end swap i soooo easy. I never did anything significantly mechanicall befoe and i had no issue doing the swap. Pwr steering box adapter from cap'n and your on your way. I have 6 lugs in the back and want 5 cuz i have a set of 5 lug rallys. I went through all the costs of adapters vs. axle swap vs diffswap and if you can get a good diff from a junk yard thats the cheapest i could come up with. Jory |

If you need more parts other than the suspension stuff, try and find a cheap parts truck that might even run with a 350, who knows you might get a bunch more parts you need for a cheaper price.

Re: 6 lugz...iwant 5....but im on a bugdet
Bummer, I actually had a pair of 6 lug to 5 lug adapter plates up until a few months ago when I just threw them in the garbage. More recently there was a free "shred day" and as I was going through old paperwork I even found the receipt for them! I think they were just shy of $100 for the pair.
I never even used them, I just carried one with the spare tire for the period when I had 5 lug discs in front and the original 6 lug rear end. I'm not a big fan of adapters for daily use, which is why I tossed them out. For those interested however these are still being manufactured by at least a couple of companies: https://uswheeladapters.com/Home_Page.php http://adaptitusa.com/ This 2nd link even lists the 6 to 5 adapter, but they don't have the correct picture posted. |

Have you read about how to swap on spindles and discs from a 88-98 6 lug truck?
