My 66 then and now. WOW!
I have never started a build thread here. I guess one day I will get to posting one. I have tons of pics. Anyway, I was just looking at some pics of when I bought thae ol beater. I now drive my truck every day. She ain't the prettiest thing on the road nor the fastest. But I love my ol truck to death. I bought it for $150 all original and even had the original 327. I now run a 292 out of a 66 3/4 ton I started with. I don't have a garage. I do all my work out in the elements. In a dirt, mud, gravel, driveway, and my porch.

Nice progress. It's even tougher when you have to work in the elements.
When I did my front suspension swap it was never warmer than 18 degrees, and took me a month because I could only remain functional in the cold for a few minutes at a time. |

You will cherish the memories of working on your truck for the rest of your life. You are pumping another 40+ years of life back into it. Good job and thanks for sharing.

Re: My 66 then and now. WOW!
Thanks guys. My goal this year was to get it to where it was a reliable daily driver. I acomplished this goal this year and now setting a new goal for the next year during the warmer months. Although I do really like the idea of running a 292. It 's just not enough. So I'm building a sbc for it. And switching from 2spd to 3spd auto. Then paint.
