custom front suspension

Next winter, im planning to build a custom front suspension for my drag truck, 67 c10. I currently have djm tubular control arms, but i plan to modify them, notch my crossmember, and fabricate mounts to run coil overs. I am after a ride height similar to what I have but with more suspension travel and better geometry. has anyone done anything like this or maybe converted to mustang II or pinto suspension? pictures would be great.

I am working on a project that includes changing to MustangII front suspension, although I am also building new frame for it as well. The stock frames on a pickup would need to use rack extenders and you can get bolt-in kits from Fat Man Fab. (www.fatmanfab.com) These are somewhat pricey, but you get the full meal deal.

Alternatively, HAL/QA1 makes a coil-over conversion kit for GM, though the application invloved is not a truck. Probably could get something to work using some car components if necessary. Summit actually carries this kit.

I've got a Fatman Stage III set up temp installed on my frame right now. Polished Mustang II tubular A-arms and coil overs. Cab and front end is off frame . Can't post any pix but can email some if you want them.
