That's scary. I got a trailer JUST like that one. Same color, same bent fender. Mine is from a 62" mower deck sliding over it when loading!

Here's some more pics of the cooler for ya. I don't have any specs on the unit, I just got the longest one that would fit on the side of the frame, figured it should be sufficient. This cooler is the dual pass design.

If you mount the cooler there, could be problems when sitting in traffic.....No air circulation from fans

Well, I thought about that, but you gotta take into consideration that the radiator is about 200 degrees when trying to cool this fluid. I might add a temp gauge, and if needed I can mount a small fan above the cooler.

The intake I am using is from a 99-02 model truck which had the fuel pressure regulator on the fuel rail, therefore it was required to run both a feed and return line to the tank. I swapped the fuel rail and crossover tube from a 05' model, which has the fuel pressure regulator at the tank. So I am going to use a corvette style filter/regulator and only have to run a fuel feed line, eliminating the long return line.

got some fittings for my trans cooler. I am going to use 6AN ss braided line. The transmission and the cooler both have 1/4" npt so I had to get adapters to go from 1/4" pipe to 6AN. 6AN is 3/8 line. The 6 is # of 1/16ths so 6/16 = 3/8

I wanted to see if I could install the an fittings without the expensive tools. It is possible, however, I did scratch the fittings a little. I will post some more pic of the finished product later.

one thing you can do if you use a cressent, is to use a wash cloth or some kind of hand town to stop it from scratching it.

I wrapped the fittings in masking tape, then a wrap of electrical tape to try to keep from scaring the fittings. It helped, but i still scuffed them a bit. I put a piece of masking tape on the hose beneath the fitting and marked it so i could tell if the red part of the fitting pulled any while tightening the blue into it.

I don't know why those fittings don't come polished, or chrome. For a Race car it wouldn't matter, but to me I think it would look better.

you can get em nickel, gold, or black plated for the most part these days through the jegs and summit catalogs

I had a drive-shaft made. It clears really well through the cross member. Total cost for the tube, ends, slip yolk, and u-joints = $298

1999 camaro. Had to trim the bottom of the frame rail about 1/2" on both sides, and made the hangers from escort straps.
