New.....one piece cab seam filler panel

New item hot off the presses.

One piece cab seam filler panel. After many requests to make a panel like this we decided to make one for a member here. These are all handmade on an english wheel, planishing hammer, and with a lot of tender loving care

Now, they aren't the cheapest items since they take all flipping day to make, but we will guarantee the fit.

Right now they are priced at $695.00. For those interested simply drop me a PM or ask here.

Re: New.....one piece cab seam filler panel

One more thing to add this will also remove the peak on the rear part of the roof seam.
This will have a nice rounded finish to it.

The filler panel is made in three pieces the corners you see have been
tig welded and metal finished to make it in one piece for a easier install

Re: New.....one piece cab seam filler panel

Since this has turned into a pretty popular item, we were able to speed up the process on making these and knock a few bucks off.

As of now these are $600 Plus shipping.

We also make them slightly wider than the original piece to make install a bit simpler. It truly is a quality piece that a lot of time goes in to when making each one.

Here's a few shots of one that just left yesterday.

Can't the seam just be filled with solder/lead/weld?

This ALso rounds out the back of the cab. and makes it a clean smooth look.

Can the top corner just be worked to round? I'd like to have this look, but can't afford the $$ for a purely cosmetic mod right now! I do, however, have a hammer

It will be next to impossible to get the corner pieces to fit properly without the correct tools.

It could definitely be done. It's simply a difference of buying a piece that needs to be welded in versus doing it yourself. But like Nathan stated, without the right tools, it's gonna be an awfully hard job.

Get to hammering, someone on here said they did it and it was hours upon hours of work to get it to be rounded out. Not to mention you will need an english wheel and other specialty tools...
Have at it though, if you get it done youll realize how much more of a value that piece is.

Re: New.....one piece cab seam filler panel

Can we see some completed pics that are a little further back to get the real feel for how it rounds out the rear of the cab?
