Re: Help changing door sash chanel.
You could try using a heat gun to soften the glue up...

If you're talking about the felt rubbers, you can remove the door panels to get some wiggle room. I've done them like that with a pocket size screwdriver. You obviously have to be really careful with the paint and the glass, but it is possible.

Re: Help changing door sash chanel.
that unbolts from the door skin ( rear one) the other is part of the wing window assembly but i do believe youre going to have to pull the glass to change that whole channel felt

^^^I pulled out everything when I changed out my door rubber. The stuff is hard to coax into place on the vent window part of the primary glass channel, but just go slow and it will fit. If you are doing the main glass rubber, are you going to do the vent windows too?

Re: Help changing door sash chanel.
This is the metel chanel on the bottom of the glass that the window regulator rollors go in to move the glass up and down.the glass sits in this chanel and is held in by a stip of rubber and is basically wedged in to this chanel.

Re: Help changing door sash chanel.
I think heat will probably be your best bet.
my question is why are you changing it? If it is wedged in there good, then it is working. I got a nasty scar from trying to pull the metal off of the glass on an extra window I had. I was prying on the metal when the window shattered.

Re: Help changing door sash chanel.
i tend to agree with joe on this one.. if you already have a broken window then you will have to heat it up and use a screwdriver to get all the old junk outta there
