Re: 2nd gear face plant

Mine has been doing the same also factory 305, th350. I was low on tranny fluid put some in and it has been good for a while but it's back again. Could it be dirty oil, filter or a vacuum problem? I haven't looked into it. Household work truck.

Re: 2nd gear face plant

yea my 77 dose that idk the rpms but when you get the four barrol open in
2nd and are pulling bout 75 mph it just dies then you shift and then it pics rite up ill you hit about 110 or so and it dose it again mines a 350/sm465/3.73s i was gonna rebuild it sooner or later and was gonna try a bigger needle and seat

BUT... i can say 1 thing back when my carb wont adjusted (it was about 6 turns out on each side) it would pull hard past 100 and start climbing towards 0 all this happened when i had my carb adjusted

Re: 2nd gear face plant

It could be the fuel filter or fuel pump. Mechanical or vacuum secondaries?
