Re: Why did my thread get locked???

I think it has to do with the rules... Regardless of how you word it, unless you are a paid subscriber to this site, you're not supposed to submit a "what it's worth" post.

That being said, I believe you got your answer though. Get the truck appraised. How much mone one puts into a vehicle does not make it more valuable. It just means you had more work to do to it.

It is a nice truck, but from my experience, in most cases they're worth more to us, the owners, than to the buyers or insurance companies.

Re: Why did my thread get locked???

WIW posts for items you own are a subscription benefit. They need to be posted in the WIW section of the classifieds as well. We hate that this rule had to be put in place, but folks used wiw as a loophole for sales.
Usually with a post like this, it is edited as well. I believe the admin whom closed it was trying to help you out by leaving the info up and not editing it and issuing a warning, as is standard practice.

Moved to site feedback. Please post questions of this nature there in the future, so that you can get a timely reply. Misposts end up getting overlooked and feelings hurt all to often.
