Sway bars
Did all 67-72 short bed pickups come with front sway bars or was this an option.

Re: Sway bars
It was not installed on all trucks. I think it was normally on 3/4 tons or BB trucks... but I might be wrong. See Sig...

Re: Sway bars
they should have been standard equipment. adding one to your truck is easy and one of the best mods. you can do for driving/handling....imo

Re: Sway bars
My truck drives fine with out a sway bar. But I will say that I think that all trucks should come with a locking rear end. One wheel drive is worse than a truck that handles like a ............. well............... a truck.

Re: Sway bars
Someone did a body off on my 69 truck. I lowered the front 2 and 1/2 inches. I also installed 22 inch wheels. I think they put the body on wrong. The right front wheel hits the top of the fender a little when I hit a hole, or make a fast sharp left turn. Will a sway bar stop the front end from dropping down will making a turn? Re: Sway bars
GRS,
Yes a sway bar will stop the body roll, but there are two types of kits, ones that bolt to the A arms and ones that bolt to end links from the A arms. I prefer the ones that bolt to the A arms. You can use ones from a 73+ and they bolt right in, just got to get the brackets off the frame then get the frame rivets off yours. Smitty
