Re: n.o.s. overflow tank cap

Very tempting, because I was just looking for one! Would you consider any trades to offset some of the cost? Thank you for your time

Re: n.o.s. overflow tank cap

On a related topic, any idea what a factory overflow tank and bracket looks like? I have a '72 C10 swbthat was a military truck. This option was on the SPID, but missing on the truck.

Re: n.o.s. overflow tank cap

This is a GM cap but found on later models from the 70's. These caps fit the washer bottle for these trucks and make a good substitute for the overflow bottle. The cap for the bottle that you are speaking of is a round push-on type with a tether that holds it to the bottle neck. the bracket is nothing special for the overflow (dealer item with the exception of military) it has a flat 16/18 guage back, a strap approx. 1.5 wide that supports the middle of the bottle and a L shaped base also made of strap to support the bottom. The unit I have is installed on the driver core support just above the horn. I thought I had a picture of it, but after looking, they did not seem to make it to the new computer. If the weather permits I will try to get some pictures for you over the weekend, just pm me to remind me.
