Lower my truck

Anyone have any before and after pictures of both the djm 3/5 drop kit or the belltech 4/6??? I am undecided on which one to do. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Re: Lower my truck

Go with the 4/6 or a 3/4. The 3/5 ends up with the front end up in the air.

My 3/5

My 3/4

If you were to get the 3/5 kit with spindles you could cut half to one coil out to bring the front down an inch, would save you some money.

Re: Lower my truck

My advice is go with a 5/7 and be done with it. Your going to want it sooner or later, may as well just do it once and be done.

Re: Lower my truck

Liveanimals, on the truck with the 3/4 drop is this via shackles/hangers? Looks excellent.

Some of us may not want to go as low as 5/7 due to the road/weather conditions in their area. For example, Connecticut has some of the worst road conditions mainly due to the winters and plows killing the pavement and the towns neglecting the roads. I don't want to zig zag every where I drive.

I'm debating between the 3/4 or a 4/6. 4/6 would be the end limit for me but I'm not sure if I want to tackle a C-notch. I know it will need one since I haul equipment and dirt bikes around.

Re: Lower my truck

I think you are dead on wanting a 3/4 drop on a daily driver. And as you mentioned, driving as low as I (and others) are can be a handfull. Colorado roads are bad, but certainly not the worst in the nation.
