Re: project INCREDIBLE HULK 6.2L with 6L80E
the ls6 has the cathedrail shaped ports, and the l76 intake has the big retangular shape ports...you can not inter-mix the two...the l76 flows more do to the bigger runners....no it did not come with the MAP sensor...no problems at all with useing the TB, everything clears nicely..

Re: project INCREDIBLE HULK 6.2L with 6L80E
getting some work done on the hulk... moved into a bigger shop, and finally got back to 'working' on the projects again....i got the rear seam filler piece fitted, and tacked on...it was a great fit, only did some minor trimming on the rear (where the rear back glass channel is...it was a bit long....but thats probley because it can fit on a small back glass truck too)
the process wasnt to bad, i trimmed out the sharp edge where the roof meets the back of the cab... and cleckoed it in place, traced around the filler piece, and cut the excess off..then i cut the tabs i used for the cleckos off, and primed the back side off the panels....and tacked the pieces together, still need to tack the back side (along the rear glass channel), final weld, and smooth.... |

Hey 68,
Can you tell me where to get that bulkhead connector you used for wiring? I read earlier you got it from work, but do you know a supplier? I'd love to use one on my 63 project I have coming up soon. Also, what pins does it use? Thanks |

Re: project INCREDIBLE HULK 6.2L with 6L80E
got a little bit done yesterday, removed and re-installed the center x-member.. installed the raised one in its place, cause we want to run a 1 piece driveshaft...so in doing that the cab floor was cut, and the cab was placed back on the frame (to check how good of measureing i did for the DS loop).... it went on as planned.....i also had to trim more of the fender for it to fit on, i knew tthis would need to be done, since we switch to drop spindles with the new brakes..and or coarse pics of the progress/stance with 22/20 combo
