Re: Parting out 74 Chevy 3/4 ton 2wd
Ray, what is the switch by the ash tray for? Also, what kind of shape is the mirror inside in and does it mount to the windshield or to the headliner? I think it's the angle of the pic but it looks like the latter.

Re: Parting out 74 Chevy 3/4 ton 2wd
The switch by the ashtray is the mechanical fuel changeover that was used in 74 instead of the problematic electric one. Its similar to a choke cable. Too bad the cable is broke. The mirror is cloudy and mounts on the windshield.

Re: Parting out 74 Chevy 3/4 ton 2wd
Can you shoot pics of the headers? What's the brand? What's your take on their conditon???rusted out, just rusty or scraped/crushed? If still available and depending on condition I'm in line.

Re: Parting out 74 Chevy 3/4 ton 2wd
Ray, could you get a picture of it when you have time. I have the standard tire carrier, but would like the glide out option. If you release the aft end and drop it down, the glide out holder will pull out to you. The standard one just drops to the ground, and you have to wrestle with the tire...... I'll take it if it's the glide out version! David

Re: Parting out 74 Chevy 3/4 ton 2wd*
Okay, need a few things, maybe from this truck or others.
73-74 grille mounting hardware and latch, want to convert my 77 over to the earlier style grille. radiator overflow and the hose that leads to radiator for a 77. Washer jug and bottle lid, and the filter that sits inside the jug. Let me know. thanks.

The headers are in good condition. They could use some paint, but there are no dents in them. Will get pics soon. Thanks, Ray
