Is this a short tail 350 by any chance?

it came out of an 84 longbed C10...I don't know how to tell the difference...if you can tell me how, I can go measure the tailshaft...thanks..

the bolt on tail extension that resembles a road cone on its side at the rear of the transmission where the driveshaft attaches came in two lengths - 6" and 9".
Its a case of measuring that tail from where it attaches to the trans to its tip.

If its the 6" I'd be interested in maybe making an offer on the pkg to use the engine in a firebird I have and the trans for a 2nd gen camaro.

Moved to ATL last summer and haven't got a clue about any reputable sources for driveline parts around here that are worth trusting, The fact you wanted to use these yourself when parting out the truck originally says a little something about condition to me.
