Should I paint the licence plate frame oranage

Should I paint the licence plate holder black or paint it orange like the truck? I think the factory color is silver.. Any recomendations?

I think if your bumper is chrome then paint the bucket silver.jmo

I painted mine black once...didn't like it. it stood out like a sore thumb.
I say paint it silver. Body color wouldn't look right.

Wait a min...are we talking the part that bolts to teh bumper...behinde the plate...or a lic plate frame that you put over the plate?

Powder coat it almost chrome and top it off with a clear powder coat. It will look like chrome and it would be different and unique. Just my 2 cents.

Acutally they came galvanized so I bought a can of that cold galvanizing spray and did mine this way.


Oh btw if anyone needs one of these brackets just go to the junkyard and get them one off of a 70-80's Chevy van, they are the same thing.

the tube turned out nice, I have to ride the seat up one notch but it sounds great. i still have to do some tuning next weekend with the head unit settings and the amp. I am very satisfied with how it sounds.

Painted mine silver. It looks ok but if the extra $ are ever around, chrome would be nice.
