That truck has been for sale about a year and a half. It WAS original paint ochre, and it looked to be in decent shape. I don't understand why it got sprayed "rust hide black" it was also oly $4000 last time i saw the add.

The "hide rust black" is all the rage you know. Has to boost the price but usually a guy posts a price to deal from or trade from on a rig like that.

I'd rather go look at a rig with the faded original paint than one that had the quickie spray flat black look to it.

The price is still way out of my range so it isn't cheap to me.

I was vey very tempted to go look at it when it was $4000 and had actually decent looking original paint, it was a decent deal then, now it needs a total repaint to even be a driver for me so its way way too much.

i looked at it last summer. for 4000 it didnt come with the 454. it had new doors, hood, bummers and a bunch more stuff...but it wasent installed. i guess he installed the engine and the rest of the stuff. i bet if someone offered him 5000 for it he would take it to get it out of his shop yard.
