factory radio output
2000 GMC Sierra
factory Delco radio w/cd factory speakers Anyone know just what the output of the stock radio is? I have a couple of dead door speakers and some replacements I've looked at are said to be 240 watts. Will the stock radio have enough umph to make them sound right? I will not replace the radio or add an amp to the truck. I am not looking to bump up the output, only to get all my speakers playing. Thanks.

Re: factory radio output
I just replaced my factory door speakers with some 6.5" aftermarket Kicker speakers and they sound better than stock. So i would think that you will be just fine. Im using a factory GM stereo also.
