Serpentine System.

Has anyone every put a 1997 serpentine system on a zz4 350. Everything matches up except the left bracket(looking at the motor from front to back) that holds the alternator it seems to be missing a bolt hole. I can manage and maybe build a bracket but would hate to do so. HELP!

Re: Serpentine System.

Is this the bracket setup you are referring to? 97 had Vortec heads. I believe they have one or two bolt holes different on the front of the heads where the brackets bolt to.

Re: Serpentine System.

I'm not 100% certain but usually unless it's a ZZ4 partial that someone put fastburn heads on it. ZZ4 I think came with non fast burn heads. They are both aluminum. I believe fastburn heads have "performance parts" stamped into them on the front. Do a google image search to see what i'm talking about.
