Re: ATL CL - Unbelievable deal - wish I had the time for it
Its a decent price, depending on what type of project your looking for. But there are better optioned trucks, in the same condition, floating around here for roughly the same price.

He most likely will, I've had that happen twice. Some of the nastiest stuff I have ever had to deal with!
Looks like a good deal! Go For it.

Re: ATL CL - Unbelievable deal - wish I had the time for it
That brings back a memory of when I bought my '85 S10. The feller had it on CL for $500.00, had a cracked 283 and TH350, no pictures just his description. I talked to him on the phone about the truck and I never thought about asking about what was in the bed as I really just wanted the V8 mounts and S10 V8 headers. He said the truck was in pretty good shape he just wanted it out of his "driveway". I hooked up my float and drove the 60 miles to pick it up. I pulled up and it was rounded over with garbage in the bed, lol. After not mentioning the trash we worked a deal of $250.00 and he keep his Grant steering wheel. I was walking back to my truck and noticed he was standing there beside of it. I walked back up to him, keep in mind I have to use a cane to get around, and told him I didn't work a deal on the trash nor was I interested in buying it. He gave me the funniest look then started unloading it in his front yard next to the driveway. I had to wait 20-30 minutes then my buddy winched it up on the float and we left. I didn't think about it but on the way back home my buddy mentioned that he didn't see but one car there. I don't know how he got that mess cleaned up and hauled to the dump.
