What tool would I use to remove and install lower ball joints?

a shop press if the A-arm is removed from the truck.

I just installed mine a few days ago and to get the old ones out I just used a BFH and with a few hits on the stud it popped right out. you can rent a press for this from Autozone or Napa and some times other Part stores like Kragen. I used a large press I had in my shop and it didn't take much to pop the new ones in if you use axle bearing grease. you can make a sleeve that will not harm the area where the Zerk fitting screws in just at the edge of the Ball joint and it should pop in ok with a press or a nice clamp
