Need carpet cutting tips
I am going to put in my carpet. I don't plan on gluing it down. I was wondering how to cut the hole for the dimmer switch, the gas pedal knobs, and for where the seat bolts into the cab. Thanks

a sharp razor im guessing will work fine ....might take a lighter and melt the ends slightly to prevent fraying

make sure you cut it big if your not experienced at cutting carpet, alittle trick for cutting the seat bolts, is put them in before you through the carpet down and you will beable to feel them through the carpet, then just cut the carpet on the bolt head cris cross with a razer blade, same with the dimmer switch, just do lots of measuring, and trimming till you get it to lay where you want it, my 2 bits

i have done it the same way Casey has. and i have done about 5 carpet sets..... not all in trucks like ours, but none of them came out wrong..... just take your time. i also found out that a spray adheasive made by 3M works great for the extra hold around the trans hump and everything. best of luck and take you time.
