Only a little retarded. The group buy (GB) thread is here: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=393027. (It was the link following the bold LINK: text in the post you replied to.)

Do you have a part # off of the box?
I assume they are 5x5 bolt pattern?

A part number would really help if you can check on the box.
Thanks.
The old ones fit with a 1" rotor,... but if you have a different centercap,... hmmm.

Wrong thread, but I'll answer anyway: the order is being placed Friday morning, so your order and payment have to be in by Thursday at 3 PM California time. There may be future orders, but no guarantees.

Ok, Im either confused or retarded or both. I am reading the Group Buy (GB) and "Laviticus" wrote that they still didn't fit and then was asked what version he had or part number.

I want (2x) 18x8 and (2x) 18x9.5 in grey. So, are the "New" retooled vers. 3 18" in grey ready for Group Buy?
Also is there any issue with the Shipping address being different than the Billing address. Since I am working in a different state with the Army.

You might get a quicker response in the group buy thread.

Re: Got some new wheels: Boss 338's in 20x10 and 20x8.5

So checking the different threads on these, it looks like the "new" package has the same specs but had the cap redesigned and the wheel changed to use these new caps.

Does that mean the bore issues did not get fixed and these won't bolt onto a 1 1/4" thick rotor? Can anyone verify this???

x2 on that question cause the 1 1/4 is what I am planning on using if I cant use them I guess I will have to find another rotor setup

I just measured the hub diameter on my 1.25" rotors and the hub is only 2.961" (75.21 mm) wide, so at least for me the wheel should bolt right on, regardless of whether the hub bore in the wheel is 82.8 (as the label on both the old and new boxes state) or 94.6 mm (as rumor has it they were going to be changed to).

These are stock replacement rotors from AutoZone or Advanced Auto, can't remember which.

nice it was a shot in the dark to buy a random set of wheels that I haven't test fitted but it sounds like everything is going to work out but then again no one is putting them on a stepside are they?

Mine will be going on my '72 stepside, but it's not in any condition to start measuring and fitting yet. I'll deal with spacers if necessary when the time comes.

I hear you there I got to measuring and the rear wheel wells come out to 11 1/2" to 12" on the stepsides so kinda looks like there is more than enough room back there now I gotta find a tire to fill in the rest of that space lol

Re: Got some new wheels: Boss 338's in 20x10 and 20x8.5

Hi guys
Newb here. I’ve been following this thread for months and have ordered my set of 20” wheels (thank you to all for organizing the buy).
Now I have a question- I saw on the 338 box label pictures in Leviticus’ thread that the 20” rim label says maximum tire diameter of 30” . Is there a reason for that?

I have a 74 C10 and I hoped to run a 275/55R20 tire which is almost 32” diameter. I’ve never noticed a maximum tire diameter specified before…would that be a problem?
TIA
