Re: Finally "Silvers" build thread!! ('78 swb 2wd silverado)
i went with Current Performance Wiring out in Florida. they completely take out the unused wires and disassemble the harness. they also install a factory looking fuse block and relays, check engine light, new connectors for the 80e, etc.. $450 for a complete job. i mailed it out a few days ago.
i was going through the interior wiring harness and i think i found the tac module for the pedal? i just dont know if the harness for the pedal and tac module are on the interior harness or the chassis harness i sent out?

Re: Finally "Silvers" build thread!! ('78 swb 2wd silverado)
yes they are... they are programming the computer to recognize the different tranny, turning off vats and all smog stuff, setting the tire size for speedo calibration, tuning for e-fans, turning off torque management, and i think thats it. $150... keeping the stock tune until she's running.
then there's a big time GM tech/tuner out here named Mark Romans that will do all the performance tuning to get everything i can out of her.

Dennis there is a short harness that goes between the TAC and the pedal and the engine harness plugs into the TAC.
