Impala SS rear brake adapters by Captfab
just wanted to forward this post by captfab incase some of you (like me), dont visit some of the other boards on here much
looks killer to me, and uses OEM parts, you can buy as money allows to complete the kit http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=339280 from his post: Here is my latest design of the Impala SS rear disc brake brackets. These are laser cut out of 1/4" with 1/4" spacers stitch welded on and then tapped M12 x 1.25 for the caliper cage attachment bolts. The price on these is $70.00 to your door with 2 to 3 day delivery from receipt of payment. PayPal is preferred, but I will also accept money orders. The package includes one pair of brackets plus grade 8 fasteners to attach the brackets to the axle tube flange and the metric bolts to attach the caliper cages to the brackets. This setup is for the 5 x 5 bolt pattern. If you would like a set, post in this thread and either make a PayPal payment to captainfab454@ hotmail dot com, or send me your email and I can send you a PayPal invoice. If you wish to send a MO contact me for a snail mail address.

If you think this is good news, you should visit the Suspension forum. Captfab is working on another kit, and Way2lo2 is doing one as well. Lots of brake stuff going on in there.

Re: Impala SS rear brake adapters by Captfab
I have Glock's Impala brackets sitting around here uninstalled because I cant seem to find a definitive answer on what prop and master cylinder to use. Anyone have any real world experience on what to pick?

I too am curious about how all of these are set up. How have you dialed them in? How do they look installed? etc.

" As far as the proportioning valve, some guys are able to just use the disc/drum original, others don't like it. I would say try it with the one you have. Then if you don't like the braking either try an adjustable valve in the rear line, or switch to a disc/disc proportioning valve."
