sold my truck tonight
hated to see it go ,but since I'm building another one and I just bought the wife a hot rod something needed to go and it wasn't going to be the chevelle. I still felt as if I might be making the wrong decision when I watched him driving it, but its going to another board member (cardreams) and he seems to be a great guy. he came down from canada to get it so I hope he enjoys it, hopefully he'll post some pics when he gets it home. heres some pics on the trailer leaving (sorry for the poor quality but it was dark).

Re: sold my truck tonight
Glad to hear it went to a fellow member, but it is still tough to see them leave.
Good luck with the new project!

Re: sold my truck tonight
I still have these two to drive until I get my truck done(which is going to be a while), but it was more difficult than I thought it would be. As nice as the truck was there were still a couple things about it that always bothered me, but I just thought it was to nice to tear completly apart so I'm starting from scratch on the new one.

Almost like watching your children walk out the door once they've grown up. BTW those two cars are beautiful.

Re: sold my truck tonight
New owner of red69ss's truck here ... red69ss is a great guy to deal with...I drove 18 hours to pick this truck up and it was everything he said it was...there isn't too many guys around that are that honest. Long haul but well worth the drive.
Don't worry it is in good hands...drove it for the first time today and love it more than when I test drove it on Sat. Can't say enough about how great he was to deal with...anybody who has a chance to deal with him for anything...he is a straight up guy. Pics to follow as soon as I drive back down to get the locking wheel nuts...lol cardreams |
