License question....67 or 72?
Okay here's the deal.....
I now have two trucks, one is a '67 3/4 with a good cab and front clip. And the other is a '72 1/2 ton that the cab and front clip is in rough condition but good bed. Now my plans are to use the good cab and front clip off the '67 and place it on the 1972 frame and drive-train. So my question is once I get it all together and ready to license what year would I use to goto the DMV?

Re: License question....67 or 72?
my truck is about the same i have a 67 frame, a 71 cab and front clip and a 69 or 70 bed but i used the its registered as a 71 because the cab is the true heart of the truck where the VIN is located and it was a 71 lwb i started from anyway

Re: License question....67 or 72?
So it sounds like I should be licensing it as a 1967 since that's what the cab will be.
The heart of the truck so to speak.
